Fine Hand-crafted  Products

I love working on events, weddings in particular, because it represents a blissful and happy time in my client’s life. I design and create beautiful silk floral and feather pieces for my clients, not only for their special day, but so they can keep them and remember that joyous day for many years to come. In the feather work area, I am one of a small group of artisans who make feathered leis and kahilis.

My products include:

■ Brides and brides maids bouquets

■ Boutonnières, corsages, wristlets and hair accessories

■ Haku hat bands and haku leis

■ Ribbon, yarn and money leis

■ Feather leis and kahilis

Send me a photo and I would be happy to provide a quote. Modern silk flowers and leaves are so life-like that my brides often mistake them for real blooms. For wedding couples on a budget with a simple ceremony in mind, I am also open to renting a bouquet

PRODUCTS FOR PETS

YARN LEIS

Yarn leis are comfortable for the pet to wear and come in a wide range of colors or combinations of colors.  Sizes small (11 inches long for $10), medium (14 inches long for $12), large (17 inches long for $14) and extra large (22 inches long for $16) that end with a kukui nut on each end and a ribbon long enough for tying around the pet’s neck.  If your pet is still young and in the chewing on objects stage, or if you have a pet who just likes to gnaw on things, only allow them to wear the lei under adult human supervision.  Order through this website by emailing me at etabe@manaoio.com and provide size, color and when you need the lei and I will contact you to complete the order.  If you need a lei immediately, visit Hawaii Doggie Bakery in Manoa (East Manoa Road and Lowrey Avenue) or call them at (808) 783-7390 to check on availability; they carry all 4 sizes of leis in a variety of colors and their prices may vary slightly from what is on this website.

HAKU LEIS

Haku leis are made with silk leaves and flowers.  They are fairly comfortable for the pet to wear and have two ribbon strands on each side; one which goes in front of the ear and ties under the chin and another that goes behind the ear and ties under the chin, to keep the haku lei secure.  They also come in a wide range of colors or combinations of colors.  Typically the florals are for females and the leafy design is for males.  Sizes small (approximately 3 inches diameter for $12), medium (approximately 3.5 inches diameter $14), large (approximately 4.75 inches diameter for $16).  An extra small size may be custom ordered.   If your pet is still young and in the chewing on objects stage, or if you have a pet who just likes to gnaw on things, only allow them to wear the lei under adult human supervision as the haku leis are tied to a wire center.  Order through this website by emailing me at etabe@manaoio.com and provide size, color and when you need the lei and I will contact you to complete the order.  If you need a lei immediately, visit Hawaii Doggie Bakery in Manoa (East Manoa Road and Lowrey Avenue) or call them at (808) 783-7390 to check on availability; they carry all 3 sizes of leis in a variety of colors and their prices may vary slightly from what is on this website.

PENDULUMS

A pendulum is a weight hung from a fixed point so that the weight can swing freely.  In animal communication, some practitioners use it to get “yes” and “no” responses to questions that they ask of animals.  If you’d like to learn the basics of working with a pendulum, go to my Facebook page - go to Videos and find “Using a Pendulum to Communicate with Animals”.

KIA’I (GUARD) FOR PROTECTION

Made with aloha from the ti leaf, which is often used in Hawaii for blessings and good luck, this Kia’i may be placed in your wallet or personal belonging.  It has been infused with positive energy, with the intention that it be used for your best and highest good.  This Kia’i will dry nicely and may be kept for a long time.  When ready to dispose of it, return it to nature, into the ocean or forest, but NOT into a rubbish container.  There will be a “BLESSED” charm and a second charm identifying your pet can be added at no additional charge.  Currently available are dog paws with “Best Friend” engraved on it, cat, rooster, pig with a heart, and horse shoes.  Priced at $10.
